I'm an Adjunct Professor in the Visual Studies and in the Visual & Critical Studies programs at the California College of the Arts in San Francisco and Oakland. Between 2006 and 2011, I collaborated with the Stanford Humanities Lab at Stanford University. I write about technology, film, games, and popular culture for various publications (WIRED, Rolling Stone, LINK, Duellanti). My online projects include GameScenes and eventually. Occasionally, I create stuff.
